CREATE A VIRTUAL CALL CENTER FROM HOME

When you call Office Depot or Verizon for customer service, you may speak with a home-based agent. Agents often say they like their work: schedules are flexible, and pay ranges from $8 to $16 per hour. A relatively new company, OnState, will set you up with a virtual call center for $49.95/mo. If you ask you can get set up with a free trial, too.

  1. The Connections Magazine article you link to is from 2007. A lot has changed in SaaS virtual call centers since. A relatively new company, OnState (http://www.on-state.com), will set you up with a virtual call center for $49.95/mo. If you ask you can get set up with a free trial, too.

  3. This, I must say, is the edge of virtual call centers over their traditional counterparts. The location of business operations is a notch more flexible, as you can have your office in any around your home. This will result to an empowered workforce, especially for service-oriented industries, as the employees will be able to concentrate on their work.
